# Follow-Up Sequences — Structure & Lifecycle

## 1. Sequence Design

A sequence defines an ordered series of follow-up steps.

### Starter Sequences Provided:

1. **New Enquiry**
   - Step 1: Immediate acknowledgment (0 mins)
   - Step 2: Quick follow-up (+1 day)
   - Step 3: Value check-in (+2 days)
   - Step 4: Final closing loop (+4 days)

2. **Quote Follow-Up**
   - Step 1: Check-in on quote proposal (+1 day)
   - Step 2: Commercial review check (+2 days)
   - Step 3: Final follow-up (+4 days)

3. **Demo Follow-Up**
   - Step 1: Same day / +2h recap
   - Step 2: +1 day questions
   - Step 3: +3 days next steps

## 2. Stop Conditions

Automations **immediately cancel** scheduled follow-ups when:
1. **Lead is marked Won:** Sequence terminates; celebratory deal won logged.
2. **Lead is marked Lost:** Sequence terminates; lost reason recorded.
3. **Lead is Archived:** Automation stops.
4. **User Manually Cancels:** Immediate cancel on active steps.

## 3. Sequence Restarting

Restarting a sequence is an **intentional user action**. Changing stages does not arbitrarily restart previously completed automations.
